Royalgel to poliuretanowy matrix, który wstrzykuje się bezpośrednio pod pokryciem siodełka podczas procesu produkcyjnego. To jedyny żel, który nie starzeje się, nie twardnieje i nie przemieszcza się. Wyraźnie odróżnia się od innych rodzajów żelu z prostego powodu: inne rodzaje żelu są formowane w strukturę plastra miodu, stosując twarde, ale elastyczne zwarte materiały, które nie deformują się, ale po prostu załamują się pod ciężarem. W związku z tym, że nie mają takiej jakości adaptacji jak Royalgel.
Badania naukowe dowiodły, że Royalgel zmniejsza nacisk na kość łonową i kości kulszowe do 40% w porównaniu do innych żelowych i nieżelowych siodeł, aby zapewnić maksymalny poziom komfortu poprzez lepsze rozłożenie ciężaru na całej jego powierzchni.
