Where are your KUbikes designed and assembled?
All development of all KUbikes and most parts is done on site by bike enthusiast engineers.
All bicycles are fully assembled in Germany. The team also assembles your KUbikes at locations in the beautiful Allgäu.

They have developed a set of values by which they consistently orient theirselves and by which they are measured.

In product policy, quality and sustainability are in the foreground. Here, passion for bicycles as well as innovation and perfectionism rule the work. The complete assembly of the bicycles takes place exclusively in Germany. This makes KUbikes deliver true German engineering.
Sustainable product policy
At KUbikes they refrain from constantly or annually presenting new seasonal models. They much prefer to invest in continuous product improvements. KUbikes are durable and shine with their timeless, stable design; the supply of spare parts is secured in the long term.
Origin of the products
They have the frames and other parts processed for KUbikes manufactured in different countries. Most of the parts come from Taiwan, China and Germany. Their bicycle frames are mainly produced in one of the largest bicycle factories in China according to their specifications.
Preserve the environment
Right from the start, protecting the environment and conserving resources have been central to the KUbikes corporate philosophy. Their company buildings are supplied with electricity from PV systems, which is required for heating, lighting and building technology - they do not need fossil fuels. When it comes to building technology, it on economical LED lighting, heat pump heating, highly efficient ventilation systems and energy-saving office technology. In addition, their fleet consists of three pioneering electric cars.
Since the subject of packaging plays a major role at KUbikes, they make sure that the waste paper cycle is as sustainable as possible: They return waste paper and cardboard pressed into bales to their regional packaging supplier KOLB in Memmingen, who uses this raw material to manufacture new packaging cardboard for KUbikes. That means short and efficient transport routes as well as the greatest possible conservation of resources. They use regional building materials for construction work on the site - they obtain wood and gravel directly from the region. And: Their carpenter is also their neighbor (Zacherl Ökologischer Holzhausbau), which saves transport routes.
Reduce CO2
Their goal is to make KUbikes a climate-neutral company. One of the measures is CO2-neutral transport with DHL (go green) and DPD (carbon neutral commitment). In addition, with atmosfair they ensure CO2 compensation for ship transport and the commuting of employees. |
