Children have different needs - we have the right helmet
Children have a different head-to-body ratio than adults. That is why the KIDS ´helmet has been designed especially with the needs of the youngest in mind.
The helmet carefully protects the temples and the back of the head, has an easy-to-use magnetic closure, provides optimal ventilation and the ability to precisely adjust the size using interchangeable inserts and an adjustment knob. The flexible canopy is also an unusual protection, which additionally protects the child´s head against impact!
Woom helmets meet the European safety standard EN 1078: 2012 / A1: 2012 (for bicycle helmets and helmets for users of skateboards and roller skates). Our helmet passed all required product checks in 2018.

Building
The outer shell and the lower edge of the helmet, made of a scratch-resistant smooth material, are connected in-mold technology with an inner shell made of EPS foam.
Security
This helmet complies with the European standard EN 1078 (helmets for cyclists, skateboard users and roller skates) and the US-16 CFR 1203 standard (safety standard for bicycle helmets)

The adjustment knob is used to precisely adjust the helmet
The internal adjustment system is, next to the inserts, an additional method that allows the helmet to be adjusted to the size of the head. It increases the wearing comfort and the level of safety. A large handy adjustment knob on the back of the helmet allows your child to change the size of the helmet with one hand. |

Thorough protection of the forehead, temples and back of the head
Increases protection and stabilizes the position of the helmet on the head. It doesn´t move. Cutouts for the ears for better contact with outside sounds. The deep shell protects as well. |

The woom logo is made of a special reflective self-adhesive foil. Increases visibility in dusk and in difficult weather conditions, especially during the foggy season. |

The magnetic buckle is easy to use and fully adapted to children. No risk of hair or body getting trapped. Quick fastening and unfastening also possible with gloves. The buckle signals closing with a loud click. |

Specially designed shock absorber for extra protection at the front of the head
The visor protects against sun and rain, and at the same time protects against facial injuries. Face protection is especially important for young children as they do not yet have the developed habit of hand protection. Maximum cushioning properties are achieved thanks to the use of an elastomer free of harmful substances and a progressive honeycomb structure. |
